Love the painted lady AMac!!! Takes a lot of patience to get a shot like that!!! Beautiful!!!
BTW- I put a couple of comments on your
Romney Lies About "Obamacare" and the Right-Wing "Constitution Lovers" Show Their Hypocrisy
article. I have not had much time for blogging as I lost my job a few weeks ago. I found a new job right away, but I am absolutely swamped trying to learn a lot of new stuff.
I have also done very little photography of late... I currently have mycameraset up on a tripod in my office... focused on a robin's nest... she was kind enough to build her nest in a tree just outside my office. No babies yet, but I have a hundred or more of themammasitting on the nest... Bought a remote trigger, hoping that when the babies do emerge, I can sit back away from the camera and get a few shots of their naked little necks straining to grab a worm.
Mac, you always seem to be in just the right place to get these excellent photos. I really liked the Painted Ladies they are such delicate and pretty things.
Nice, lots of color.

The shots of the close up of the painted lady and the lady bug are beautiful. The color is so intense and perfect clarity. Perfect ending to June.
