Oh deer, she is just too darling! I never knew that a fawn has blue eyes. You did a wonderful job of catching her. What a treat!

Lot of good meat on the doe!

I remember several times walking through fields early in the morning, and scaring up does and fawns! Hilarious when the fawns would try to run.

The only time I saw a fawn in the wild was when I was about 14 years old on a trip with my parents through Algonquin Park in North-Central Ontario. They took a photo of me feeding it, but it's back in Canada. The next time I saw a deer in what was not quitethe wild was during winter when Idrove to my parents' house which was on the edge of a forestwhere I sawa doe eating the euonymous leaves off the vines clinging to the house. Other than that, I've only seen deer in zoos. You're lucky to be so close to nature and its critters.

Getting those 3 fawns together was a really fortunate moment, and it was great that you could take that photo.

Those are great Mac and thanks!

Always find it amazing how quickly critters get up and start moving around.

I suppose your drive is like ours. Half an eye on the road and half an eye watching for deer that want to jump in front of your car.
