There is no such thing as wasted time, when spending it with those who are loved, and who love back.
And possibly the time we must "make up" is the time we could not spend with loved ones while we were consuming time making a living, etc. .
It was my intent to make the clock in the image so subtleas not be noticed by the viewerat first but ultimately like the passage of time itself discovered almost as a revelation the viewer somewhat stunned "where did that clock come from? how long did it take me to notice?"
A beautiful photo. I don't know which of the three wrote those words, but if it was David Crosby, I can tell you he is an asshole. I met him when Joni Mitchell brought him to my home many years ago, and I can say I have no respect for him so if he was the one who wrote those words, he obviously considered being in my home a waste of his time.
So much time to make up
The older I get, the more moments mean to me. There is no such thing as wasted time, when spending it with those who are loved, and who love back.
Both the photo and the quote are perfect.

Please, let me know if that works or not.
So very true.
Wasted on the way......
As we grow older we grow wiser and take the time we used to leave in the wayside.
Water under the bridge. (spent chasing Mrs Robinson)
Time to move on to smelling the flowers rather than crushing them underfoot.
Peace Brother
Do you think lost time can be made up?
Love the pic...I like you love to photograph Nature you just can't beat Nature.
Thanks for the video my friend.
This left the FP kind of early; I am shamelessly self-promoting it.
Making a living takes way, way too much time. I wish I would have seen that sooner when my kids were home; grandkids have made that abundantly clear.
The clock works, and the way it is fitted with the flowing water, conveys the passage of time quite well!

Well said!!
