Woman Who Gets Waferless KitKat Demands Lifetime Supply

Woman Who Gets Waferless KitKat Demands Lifetime Supply

Yahoo News, February 1 2016

A woman is demanding a lifetime supply of KitKats after she bought a packet of the chocolatey treats without any wafer.

Saima Ahmad, 20, a law student from Enfield, north London, purchased a multipack of eight KitKat bars from a supermarket for £2 last month.

But when she opened the bars to find them waterless, she wrote a letter to manufacturer Nestle demanding a lifetime supply of Kitts, even quoting a case from the 1930s.

The second year law student at King’s College London said: “They go about advertising the unique concept of KitKat, but I’m so disappointed by what I have purchased.

“I’m hoping they will apologise to me and in future focus more on quality of their product.

“I wouldn’t rule out taking this further if Nestle do not apologise or compensate me adequately.

“As I mentioned in my letter of complaint, an unlimited supply of KitKat would do.

“Nestle have a huge following and I don’t think these mistakes are acceptable.”

She said she had researched the issue and found she wasn’t the first person to open a KitKat to find it only filled with chocolate.

“There are quite a few forums online where people complain of having KitKats without wafer,” she said.

“They should definitely give in to me, I’m hoping my demand will go higher than the customer service platform.

“I’m trying my luck, if you don’t ask you don’t get.”

In her letter to Nestle, Miss Ahmad wrote: “The truth of the matter is; manufacturers owe a duty of care to consumers.

“The specific duty you owe in consistency in your manufacturing process. The failure to take due care in the manufacturing process resulted in a product being defective.

“The loss I have suffered is of monetary and emotional significance.

“I would like a full refund of the defective pack of KitKat I purchased. I have also lost my faith in Nestle.

“Clearly, if I wanted to purchase a confectionary item that is purely chocolate, I would have purchased a bar of Galaxy.”

They should send her a giant box of KitKats, a blood sugar testing kit, and a bottle of metformin.

This is nothing more than a very good example of this generation’s misguided entitlement belief in action.   You don’t need half a brain to do what she’s trying to do.  Lowlife swindlers have been peddling this same tactic for years.

“Nestle have a huge following and I don’t think these mistakes are acceptable.”

I underlined the key words in this sentence....wait until she gets an Oreo with no cream in-between.......or (shudder) a box of Lucky Charms with no Green Marshmallows in it!
