Currently raining once it stops, I'm (hopefully) going to get more such shots then go fishing.

Life is good.

Life is great Mac.

Beautiful photos of butterflies, worth the 90 mile trip I'm sure. Fishing is an added bonus.

Thank you my friends; I wish more time and space were occupied by this more civil genre.

A Mac

I have a bench in the back garden area where I can sit with a cup of coffee and watch the butterflies and the birds and nothing is more relaxing.

These shots are beautiful thanks for sharing

Superb.

How long is the lens? I doubt you're shooting these at six inches!

Actually, Bob, I was within a foot and a half,

I use a Nikon 28-300mm FX lens that is clean through the entire range.

The images when shot in RAW/NEF file format are 4000 x 6000 pixels! For subjects like butterflies full frame MACRO PLUS!

I also use a Nikon 80-400mm FX and can get similar images about 7 feet from subject.

How long did you have to wait?

Or was there a cloud of them?

How long did you have to wait? Or was there a cloud of them? There were 4 or 5 and about a dozen Milkweed plants; the key was not to chase them but select a group of Milkweed plants together and wait

Butterflies and fishing. The Breakfast of Champions.

For certain, there is an infinite number or poorer breakfasts, Enoch.
