What I like about this picture is that it provokes my imagination. I look down the tracks and can imagine the surroundings and the landscape that awaits. I like the way it captures the shadows of the trees across the tracks and snow and when I look up I see the clouds that seem almost transparent or faded to me.
I am self-TRAINED in photography and try to keep TRACK of things like composition, exposure and other photogrphic components.
I do the best I can so please don't RAIL about my pictures.
Photography is one of my STATIONS in life.
All aboard …
Well, you should probably wait for a train.

Love the photo. Reminds me of when my brothers and I would ''jump'' trains for the fun of it when we were kids.
It got ugly elsewhere on the site so I figured I'd wait for the train and head out.
Good night all.
Aha!!! A perfect article to post one of my favourite photos from back in my B&W film days - taken with my Canon F1.
Perfect shot, Buzz!
Great visual rhythms and leading lines!
Post more.
Wow! That's a great picture!
Wonderful picture, A. Mac! I miss the old chug-chug-chug trains. The new ones sound like barges... I listened to one last night...
