I know it does, but it's actually Twin Harbors State Park, Greyland WA. Path to the beach from the parking area. The grass is actually about 6-7 feet high feels like your walking through a tunnel or chute.
Once you get through the chunnel, it opens up like this....
The same type of beach.
Perfect for wind sports. (and clearing your mind when needed)
Thanks for reviving memories of my childhood. When I was a kid I would spend the summers at my grandmother's cottage on the strip of land between Lake Ontario and Burlington (Hamilton) Bay in Ontario. Her place was on the bay side, facing south west, and I used to watch the sunsets over the bay, but to get to the beach on the Lake Ontario side we had to cross the highway, the railway tracks, and walk on a short sandy path through the bushes that resembled A.Mac's and NowhereMan's photos. As kids we loved to play in those bushes. Such wonderful memories are prompted by your photos. Thanks again.
This is the best photo I could find online to show our way through bushes to the Lake Ontario beach.
This is one of my favorite shots!
Gosh, I can see why! The picture makes you want to walk down the path...
Quick! While I still have internet-- I love this picture! It's a great one!
Love you, A. Mac!!!
To me that picture says "anything's possible".
Great Pic Mac. East Hampton here I come!
Nice Pic Mac, Twin Harbors here I come.....
Looks like the same scene taken from a different angle, NWM.

Really nice composition NWM. Nice to see that side of you!
I found the composition pretty uninspiring... until I turned my phone and saw the whole picture. Very nice!

Totally beautiful and restful. Makes me wish that summer was here.
