I posted a pic from an old trip to Mexico, but the camera was terrible. Maybe this will better? This is the Cathedral of Santa Prisca in Taxco, Mexico, about 4 hours inland from Acapulco, taken from across the valley. It may sound like a strange thing from an avowed atheist such as myself, but one of my favorite things to do while in Mexico (we try to go at least once a year) is to take pictures of the beautiful Churches and Cathedrals there. The architecture is magnificent and considering that most were built by church volunteers the amount of effort and craftsmanship required speaks of pure love. This one took 15 years to complete. Maybe Mac can puff the picture up for more detail? Of course nothing is quite so magnificent as seeing it in person.

Upsizing it too much will degrade the image, Randy; but I upsized it some, removed spots in the upper, right corner and increased brightness, contrast and corrected the color.
Thanks Mac. It's unlikely that Joan and I will be returning to Taxco because the cruise lines (the few left that go to Acapulco) no longer offer a day trip there. It's a 12 hour trip of 4 hours to get there, 4 hours spent there and 4 hours to get back. Though the ride back screaming down winding, cliff-side mountain roads in a passenger van, most of the way with no guard rails between you and hundreds of feet drops was worth the trip all in itself. A real E-Ticket ride!
How did I overlook this collaboration? What an incredible poem Neetu - WOW! And Mac - I love the way you have the pictures faded. It represented the poems message so well in my mind.
Thank you....thank you.....thank you. I'm so glad this circled back around so I didn't miss it.
Pj, I am sorry it has taken me this long to circle back to here! Thank you for the compliment. Glad you enjoyed this collaboration.
I have been gone for several days and have only just returned from a hectic but wonderful trip to California, so I do apologize for not keeping up with the comments this discussion has drawn. I never travel with my laptop, hence get completely disconnected!
Not all expressions of feelings are accepted graciously and with appreciation.
Fabulous combination of photos and a poem with a profound message. Well done!
Thank you, Buzz. Glad you liked the collaboration!
Anyone care to take a break from Trump?
I reckon that is because his trumpet is louder than anything else, Mac. All else just gets drowned in a din.
Maybe, Mac, we should re-post this after the Trump mania subsides? Hmmmmm, it might get worse, though.

That is a beautiful shot, Randy!
Thank you. I just wish I'd had a better camera.
Ha, so do I! I mean, I wish I had a better camera too. It is a great picture, nevertheless, Randy.
Wonderful picture, and touching poem. Thank you both for sharing your gifts with us!
Thank you, dearest Nona.
Very nice ...

Moon, how lovely to see you!!!! Glad you like the collaboration and hope you will stop by at the others, too.
Thank you.
Beautiful picture and an equally beautiful message
You two have outdone yourselves with this one.
Very kind of you to say that, Robert. Thank you!
