Roarsome: The bears scrap in the grass in Lake Clark, Alaska
A photographer could bear-ly believe his luck when he spotted these two adorable cubs having a harmless scrap.
The playful brown bear cubs locked paws and showed their teeth as they rolled around in the grass.
Amateur photographer Greg Morgan spotted the young animals wrestling in Lake Clark, Alaska.
The 44-year-old, from Walthamstow, north London, travelled to the US especially to photograph the creatures.
He said: "Seeing the two brown bear cubs was a brilliant feeling.
"The bears are so interesting and they are also really cute that's for sure.
"A lot of the time they aren't doing a lot so when you get action like that it is a great feeling."
Alaska has the highest number of brown bears in the US and is home to roughly 98% of the country's entire population of the species.
Intrepid Greg, who works as a civil servant, took the photos on June 19 after a long search for the animals.
He was also lucky enough to see the same two cubs wrestling on another trip three days later.
He said: "It was a very intensive 16 hours with the odd break here and there, but it was without a doubt worth it when I sighted them."
There are 30,000 brown bears living in Alaska, making them the state's top predator.
Depending on availability of food , their population can be as dense as one per square mile.

The photography is fabulous but the subjects being photographed are super stars!
Amazing photos, I wonder if their related to Mama Grizzly. I couldn't resist RIO.
Working in Natural Resources, one of my greatest joys is seeing the "youth" of the wild playing and enjoying life without interference of mankind.
Beautiful photographs.
Adorable pictures and amazing shots. It must have been a real treat to have caught these guys in action.
Interesting how animals in the "wild" could teach we humans so much about life. Trust one another, accept one another, love one another, protect one another - without qualifications - parameters - requirements - "just do it."
They have it easy 1st.... they don't have media outlets and politicians egging them on for conflict 24-7!
- so very, very true FLY.

Glad you liked them and thanks for the feedback
A walk in the woods around here presents to the opportunity to see a lot of different animals and beautiful vegetation but few bears
Though we do have a young black bear that has been wandering around the edge of village foraging in the past few weeks
Quite the news story in the weekly gazette the last couple of weeks

No worries
Just goes to show us that we can find politics in any story if we look hard enough
Appreciate you stopping by and sharing your perspective
