Creative illustrations meant to convey the essence and mission of a company in a single image

Great illustrations

What do you think of these mascots and have you got a favorite corporate mascot / logo?

Dean

Hard to argue with that one being an iconic logo!

Interesting how corporates are attempting to brain the population down to the millennial mentality of what stands for strength - cartoons???

cartoon characters are intended to gain/get/grab the attention of adolescents. The use of those characters states that corporations now view the general public as mindless adolescents - simply put.

Well that doesn't totally explain the successof the logos (mascots if you will) of Playboy (the bunny), Disneyland (Mickey Mouse), Pep Boys (the three dudes), Linux (the penguin), Taco Bell (the chihuahua), MetLIfe (Snoopy and friends) all which are corporate mascots, emblems that attract far more adults than kids.

The purpose of advertising I to use familiar things that attract the attention of the consumer, you can choose to see it as a result of the dumbing down of America if you like, but it works.

It should - because America is dumbing down.

BTW - all of those examples are at least 20 years old or more and Taco Bell no longer discriminates.

America is dumbing down.

Perhaps, many would agree with you

all of those examples are at least 20 years old or more

So hat, they are still the corporate logos of the companies

Taco Bell no longer discriminates

Immaterial and irrelevant to the topic at hand unless they discriminated against chihuahuas
