Some hopes are born … only to be washed away.

Thank you, Mac, for doing the perfect layout and choosing the beautiful and apt image.

Very profound thought. However, I might have used this as a background.

Lovely image, Buzz. I think the poem would look equally great on this one, too.

I wasn't being fair because that's a stock photo, not mine. As well, I didn't mean it as an insult to A.Mac, who provided a tastefully neutral background to the poem.  I just thought it would be nice to see that particular poem on an actual spider web that survived the rain.

Oh, I am sure you meant it that way, Buzz. I am also sure Mac wouldn't take offense at all. :) If he had a picture with a spider web that had survived the rain, with rain still showing on it, I am sure he would have used it. I do like his current image, too. I was driving one morning and saw the silken webs hanging off bare tree branches after the rain with the sun filtering through them, but I was in motion and couldn't stop to take a picture. :( It inspired the poem, anyway.

No question, Buzz; if I had such a picture I'd have used it.

Looks like this collaboration has washed away too.

Got some cobwebs out in the garage (and a couple too high up on the dining room vaulted ceiling for me to get to) if that'll help?

Randy, can you get your hopes up there, too? ;) That might keep them safe.
