Even scorched seeds can bring forth beauty - that could be an allegory for many historical incidents.  Well done.

Truly beautiful, words AND picture!

I just read about some flowers that have to be scorched in order to bloom.  They require the forest fires, to germinate their seeds.  Interesting concept, isn't it?

And the seeds of others, like Columbine, must first freeze!

Interesting, yes, Dowser dear. I didn't know about those flowers, but I am glad to know they exist! Thank you for your kind words.

It enables the forest to regenerate itself-- ain't life wonderful?

Or at least, that's how I see it...

Love you, dear friend and poet!
