The thing about the canyon : its pretty good in pictures but there is no substitute for the feeling in your gut when you look down , waaaaay down ...

If I was in awe of the little "grand canyon" in Kuaii I can hardly imagine the effect its big brother would have.

The temptation to lean over the edge (where there are no rails or fences) is compelling. I used great restraint not to do so while looking through the viewfinder of my camera … for obvious reasons.

Simply beautiful!  I love the different colors and natures of the rocks there...  And you have captured it perfectly!

I'm hoping that I can get some pictures today...  Hopefully!
