A Third Party Is Needed - Presenting The Minority Party

By Kavika

With the latest revelations from Wiki leaks (my mini doxie is named Wiki and she does leak from time to time) regarding the DNC and Democratic Party, we now have the two parties (republicans and democrats) that, according to each other are bigoted, racist, scum bucket POS. And that is the best that they are saying about each other. Trump, Clinton and Wasserman have become four letter words.

Finger pointing and ''I told you so'' is splashed across the internet. The media is having a field day.

The democrats are the circling the wagons, and the republicans are in a free fire mode. It's a bloodbath out there folks. This could be worse then ''The St. Valentine's Day Massacre''.

Now it seems that we have the commies involved. Is the bomb far behind.  There is a rumor that Putin and the commies will invade Latvia/Finland/Estonia if Trump is elected. On the other hand, if Clinton is elected we will invade Canada. NAFTA be dammed, we don't need stinkin' agreements or treaties for that matter.

NATO stands for ''Not Another Treaty Opie''....We stand alone is the new motto of America.

These are bad times folks, make no mistake about it. Gas prices are low, stocks are high, interest rates are rock bottom, housing is booming, unemployment is way down, corporate earning are sky high. America is really in bad shape.

And to top all this bad news off, the DNC is bigoted...What is a minority to do?

Well let me tell you want we're going to do...We are starting a real third party, the Minority Party.

After a bit of research, it seems that minorities make up 38.4 per cent of the U.S. population. And that doesn't include some groups that were not shown in the studies, but surely are minorities. If they were added in it would be over 40 per cent...

In looking further into this, minority births are at record highs, and the average age of minorities is much lower than for non minority folks. Projections are that minorities will be the majority my 2040 or so..Just around the corner.

So, the new ''Minority Party'' is off and running. To reassure the non minority folks we are an inclusive party, just read our secret emails. You will not find in them any of the bigoted, racists comments that the dem's and repub's have kept hidden. Well, not hidden any longer. If we are hacked, we have a secret unbreakable code. You know, the code talker thingy. We intend to be as secretive as possible.

It was quite discouraging to see the leadership of both parties unable to manage a cluster f__k or a one car funeral, let alone an email system.

We will be holding our Minority convention in the month of September. We intend to win the hearts and minds of ''We The People''

This is an interesting idea but the what unites the minorities into a single party ... a hatred of whites ?

petey, why would you jump right to hate. Is it so difficult for you to take something as satire making fun of both parties?

Lighten up before you make yourself ill.

Can Canadians join? - we would be a minority as well. There are only around 33 or 34 million Canadians - only about 10% of the population of the US. (After all, if Cruz can run for POTUS in an American election any Canadian can do what is necessary to qualify at least to vote can they not?)

In a parliamentary (British) system of government like Canada's, a minority party can be very influential in the event of being a coalition partner when no single party can form a majority. I don't know if or how the American electoral college system can adapt to that.

Of course Canadians can join the movement, led by a legal beagle named Buzz.

If the Minority Party wins, can I be appointed Ambassador to China? I've always wanted a car with diplomatic plates and a couple of little flags on the front fenders.

Dear Friend Kavika: I know Wiki Leaks. They all do at that age.

The largest single minority group in American or any other country are the disabled.

Add them to your figures and you will not have to wait for 2040 for the minority to be a majority.

What ever we name and what ever is the composition of the party, the party should be held at Jay's Diner.

Jay's, where quality and value are always an experience the minority of the time.

To protect us from Putin hacking, I will write the rest of this post in invisible code.

Here goes:

Kavika, leading the charge to Jay's.

Dear friend Enoch,

You are right on about the disabled being the largest minority and often we are one of the most ignored, especially those with mental illness disabilities. Add the to the minority party ad it would be the biggest party in America! Happy

Indeed it would. Being the father of a disabled Marine and the grandfather of 2 disabled children, it's a double whammy to us.

I'm happy your party is big enough to need to meet in Jay's Diner. The Canadian contingent could probably meet in a phone booth.

Kavika and 1st warrior ( and anyone else who actually knows)  - how much do American Indians get involved in state and local politics in the states where Indians are their largest percentage of the population? Do we see Indian candidates for state rep and state senate to any large extent?

Kavika

This election cycle there are 9 Indians (2 incumbents)  running for the senate and congress. Additionally there are over 100 running for state and county positions.

There already exists several "third parties".

For the upcoming election, I believe the Libertarian party, the Green party, & the Constitution Party are fielding candidates for president in most states.

Green Party

Libertarian Party

Constitution Party

But none of them would be as big as the Minority Party, which actually should be the First Party since it would be bigger then all of the rest.

In addition to those three parties fielding presidential candidates in a majority of states, there are many other smaller "third parties". From time to time several have had candidates for president (and/or lower offices) in one state-- or a few states. There are a plethora of "third parties" (in addition, there are actually a helluva lot of 'em!)

Sometimes one of them is exclusively in one state-- sometimes they are in several states.

There have been several Socialist parties (probably something like 10 or so total over time).

Heck-- there's even the United States Pirate Party!

So for those folks who want to waste their vote and not have a say in deciding who are next president will be-- I say "PARTY ON!"
