No Photograph or Artwork does it Justice … but some Begin to make the Case

Great paintings depicting the Grand Canyon like those by American artists like Thomas Moran, particularly when viewed by individuals who have never experience the Canyon in person, will evoke awe … but unless and until one has "felt" the view first hand … images will have to do.

For those who have not been there, I hope my photos will motivate you to make the trip.

Panoramic images of the Canyon are my favorite, but more intimate, zoomed-in views are also indicative of what the Canyon holds.

I can't come up with enough superlatives to describe that photo, and how impressed I am by it.

Of course, "Being there" is better than seeing it depicted, but then It's also a Peter Sellers movie.

Been there four times Brother. you will never see it all in one trip. But we bypassed it this time out. Wanted to see some other specific things often overlooked. (we did detour to Hoover Dam though, four times to the canyon and never took in the Dam, fixed that this time)

And yes, you do have to experience it to really know and feel the grandeur....

But your pictures, are an excellent alternative....

VERY nice Shot!
