No kidding!!! I see the tourists up in the top left corner and I see and wonder what it must have looked like when it was being carved out like it is. When I was in Taiwan, I took some beautiful photos, but could never and I don't believe anyone can capture what it is like actually being there. On a great big screen surrounding you like at Disney World I guess would be the closest. Thanks AMac!
Don't denigrate a good shot when you get one … there's nothing "least" about your shot … "different and good" are not the characteristics of "at least".
There is a certain specialness to such experiences that are difficult to put into words, but in the right hands can be interpreted through a lens. This (and NWM's too!) is a wonderful example of sharing that sacredness.
I love how you got the perspective from the top, lining up the layers so that one can see how many there are, and how they have weathered differently. Amazing!
This could be used to illustrate a wonderful book! All of these could! You've done a spectacular job!

Thank you, Dowser … that's a wonderful compliment.
I have actually published a number of books … some political, some photography/art/nature; of course, compared to posting to a blog and getting hundreds of comments, my published books and photos are small potatoes.
I was thinking that you could put all of these in a beautiful coffee table book... I've got one of the Grand Canyon from the 1960s, that doesn't compare to these pictures! Beautiful, for sure, but these are superb!
There's a reason they call it "Grand"!
Nice shot! I like the way you lined up all the mesa lines as a horizon....

There are several of those at WDW … Canada, France, Soarin' and possibly others.
If one is not careful, motion sickness is a real possibility.

I'll say! And you have the skill to display it.
At least it was colorful.....

Thank you brother, I really wasn't putting it down, I know it's a good shot, was just intending a different emotion for the viewing....
More focused and narrow.
Thinking on doing a series on Angels Landing. A hike I almost wished I didn't make...

Don't just think about it … do it … and share it!
At least it was colorful.....
What you talking about? That's beautiful and I bet it was Grand standing there taking that photo. Thanks NWM!!!
Shoot, I get dizzy, just looking at it!
It's beautiful! Thanks for sharing it!

Thank you and kudos!
Just getting to the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley pix from my trip … more on the way.
Good night for now.
Beautiful photo, Mac.
Working on the next one as we speak.
Great photos.

But I'm not finished trying to be relevant.

I would buy it.
I would buy it.
If ever I produce it, I'd send it as a gift; I don't accept money from friends.
That's sweet! But I would want to pay you for it!!! To me, it would be well worth the money!
MUCH love to you!!!
Good night … lots more in coming days.
