Is that where your husband got treatment? One day very far (I hope) in the future the two of you will be able to rekindle good memories when you look at these pictures.
Thank you Dowser. When he was getting his treatments, (which would last for hours) I would occasionally go outside and walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery, and that would take my mind off of things for a while.
When my mother was so ill from the brain tumor, the hospital at home was landscaped so beautifully! It was a pleasure to see it! BUT, they naturally built the hospital down wind from the sewage treatment plant. The farmer/commissioner made a killing from the land. So, while trying to take in the beauty-- a whiff of the air would waft by, and curl one's hair! Even the ducks left. That's when you know it's bad-- when the ducks abandon ship and fly away to a different pond.
This place is huge and beautiful as well.
Another Clinic shot.......Too bad I couldn't get closer to these pictures......sigh
Great photos Nona.
Where is the clinic?
Thanks Chief! The Clinic is in northern Illinois. He had his last surgery at the University of Illinois.
