One of the biggest lies the Duopoly rumor mill churns out is that he is not.  In fact, I have seen several on this site spreading it.

Interesting premise this swap vote. I would like to see him at the debates and I agree it's time for a third party.

This idea would only be feasible in an era that has widespread access to the internet . That would be NOW !

"I agree it's time for a third party.  "

Your mind tells you we need a third party, but will you vote with it or will you vote with something else?  If so, what on earth are Trump and Hillary supporters voting with?   Anger? Desperation? And yes, if you VOTE for them you ARE one of their supporters!

I'm beginning to get the feeling that I should be spending more time on a site where posting YouTube videos is a rarity and less time here where so many posted articles and even comments are just YouTubes with no text. I'm getting tired of having to beg the members to provide some text or at least identify and describe what they posted.

Sorry Buzz.  The video basically says Hillary and Trump are no choice and Gary Johnson is on the ballot in all 50 states.  If you follow the site link it will take you to the "swap vote" that the video talks about.  Basically if you vote for someone to block the "OTHER" in this election you are a dumb ass is the premise.  about 60% choose "ANYONE ELSE" this election. The swap vote shows there is some other chump voting to put your fears in office that will cancel yours anyhow.  Take the challenge on the link under the video.  Also if you can use Facebook go here

In this election the only losers are the ones who wish they had more choices but don't vote for their wish.  That's the majority of the country this election my friend.

Facebook is banned here as well, but no matter, you explained the YouTube and I could open the swap vote but didn't vote because I wouldn't vote for either of those candidates in a positive OR a negative way.

Good for you.  You are in the majority of the country the video is trying to reach.  60% choose "anyone else" they just need to vote that way

If I didn't live in a swing state I would vote for him, not that I care that much for him personally, but actually I would like to see four parties, one to challenge the Democrats and one to challenge the Republicans.  He will not be in the debates, I think I heard today, but if he gets enough votes at least next time there will be another party that receives funds and will get some air time.

I am absolutely disgusted that, considering the dislike of both major party candidates, the public will not be given a reasonable opportunity to hear and see what an alternative could be.  Your system really is nothing better than a 2-party system, and when both of them are represented by candidates who are so despised, how is your "democracy" any better than single-party communism?

Says the man who can't see youtube or Google . Anyone who wants to vote for Johnson can do so without concern for being persecuted by the govt ...

Look at it as comparing being realistically given only a choice between two really horrible alternatives (any others are not given a chance), and not being permitted to vote against a single candidate.  Personally, I see little difference in the expected result.

It's true I can't see google, but I use Firefox, Internet Explorer, Baidu, Bing search, Yahoo search and others, so other than the fact that I previously used Gmail and cannot any more, I still can use hotmail, yahoo mail, qq international. As for Facebook, I hated it when I could use it so I don't miss it, and although I cannot use YouTube I can see much of the same things on Tudou, Soku, and other sites. If I wanted to spend the money for it and thought it worthwhile I could use a VPN to be able to use everything you do, but why bother?

I'm not deprived. I live much more comfortably here than I could possibly live on my income in North America.

I'm not deprived.

You are deprived of certain information . With Google [& similar platforms] you can research subjects that you can't research without that access . You don't seem to understand the difference between search engines and browsers . They are simply NOT identical ...

Google does not have a monopoly on research sites - I have what I need to research whatever I want, whether what I use are browsers or search engines - obviously I have both.

Well that is the problem Buzz.  The primaries are rigged so that you get the establishment choice 99% of the time.  People are so fed up that a cog got in the least rigged system and was supported by the pissed off majority and the 1% Trump anomaly occurred this election.  I am sure you saw how hard they tried to rig it against him.  Even schemed to steal it from him.

Even this time, it took a multi billionaire that could very skillfully manipulate the media to do it.  Think about that people. There has not been real democracy in this country for decades.

This happened to Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders as well but they did not have enough strength and power and media attention beat the system.

Good post Six. One thing about libertarians is that there are positions both the right and left can agree with.
