The article said that the explosion could have been from a dumpster. That would indicate that this wasn't some broken gas line.
At least in Israel the government and the media SAY who the perpetrators of this wave of violence were. Elsewhere, it is forbidden to identify, especially....

A knife wielding Islamist also attacked people in Minnesota.
Islamist terrorism? No way. That was just mental illness.
