One of the Great Joys of My Life …
… is taking the family to Walt Disney World … wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandkids.
Since my grandson was a year old, we've gone every year (some years, twice); as my grandson and granddaughter get older, I know the reality will be for them to find their own ways and joys in life. But for now, as long as they still want to be with parents and grandparents, we'll continue to visit the so-called "Happiest Place on Earth".
I have a couple such happy places, but being with the family in Disney World, is for me personally, at those times … THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH.
I have photographed just about every inch of Walt Disney World; but as I continue to work on my "Fantasy Series," I can re-photograph many of those same inches and create a fresh vision …
Here's one from a few years ago … with a fantasy, starry night sky.

I'm pre-visualizing some of the pictures I'll be taking next time at Disney.
For me, a lot of nostalgia. I took my family there 3 different Christmas vacations. Once was when Disney World gave us Canadians a huge discount because of the "Canadian Caper" when Canada rescued some of the Iran hostages.
Your photos capture the "fantasy land" and bring back memories of 30-35 years ago.
Hello …
Nice image! Yeah, The Rat. I could tell you some stories. Carl Hiassan penned a wonderfully scathing and bitter essay about those folks. "Team Rodent" by Carl.... Despite feeling quite in solidarity with Mr Hiassan I have had some good time taking daughters there. I am an utter hypocrite and low life.
Thanks, Tex … for coming by and adding to the discussion.
Good night … can't get too many off of the FP even for just a moment or two.
Yeah, it is true. It is akin to a giant circle jerk. I'll read em and maybe make a drive by but the real issues we as a nation should be discussing are absent. Most of this caterwauling is pointless and petty.
I keep hoping for good art, literature and music posts for a break and inspiration but they are few and far between.
Though I do not often comment I always check out your work. Very nice.

Beautiful, it looks like the building are reaching for the stars.
Your photos lift my spirits A Mac. Thank you!
Makes me feel good, Larry; thank you.
