For Many, A Homecoming Day
Thanksgiving, a distinctly American holiday, is for many, a time to come home, or, at least, to be with the people who, in our lives, represent "home".
With that in mind, I borrowed some lyrics from the late John Denver and incorporated them into my sepia-toned, visual metaphor.
To all on NT … ALL means All … peace and a happy Thanksgiving.

Really, to ALL, even to you-know-who(s) … to ALL.
No visitors? Maybe this pic is a turkey.
Beautiful pic, AMac. Love the shades of gold!
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
The same wish to you Katpen, and thank you.
There is much warmth exuding from that photo. By the way, I always thought that "Thanksgiving Day" was to give thanks for a good harvest, properly timed at the end of harvesting crops in most of North America. That is why Thanksgiving Day is also celebrated in Canada, earlier than in America due to the difference in climate causing harvest to be earlier. It is the Americans who have connected it with the Pilgrims to amplify the reason for giving thanks. (I don't think Native Americans look at the Pilgrim aspect the same way.)
Happy Thanksgiving A Mac, and to ALL here! Being with family is the most important part of a Thanksgiving Day-- being with the people you love! Even if some of them are difficult to be with, you love them anyway.
May everyone on site have a wonderful day with the people you love! A day of blessings and day of thankfulness for what we have!
For those of us who have no family nearby, and can't get there to visit with the family that we have-- know that love knows no boundaries of space or time.
Take care and safe travels for those who are on the road!
