Another Day, Another Respite from the FP
I am as guilty as anyone for raising hell on the FP …
But … I also provide alternatives (got that from Ms. Kellyanne).

I have some others from today … just looking at the memory card; if there's anything worth sharing, I will do so.
Yup … got more.
Each of the photos is just beautiful.
Great photos, Mac.

And now you're giving us the bird(s)....
Nice shots!
Exceptional exposure control notwithstanding backlighting. Well done.
Backlighting, rim lighting and side-lighting are much "sexier" than light coming from behind the photographer and on to the subject.
Daylight early and late in the day is also "sexy" in that its color is warmer (more towards the red/orange/yellow end of the light spectrum).
The downside to that is often a need for longer exposures, higher ISO/ASA settings … no problem for stationary subjects with a camera on a tripod … big problem for subjects that move.
Good night and peace to all … even to those with whom I regularly disagree.

Well heck, you know I am. I guess you're lucky though. I've been so busy I haven't had time to get too riled up lately. About 2000 miles in the last five days and I don't drive for a living. But I did get a treadmill and have been getting on that thing every morning as soon as I get up. I'll probably become more feisty! 2000 miles is a lot of sitting on your butt!!!
I feel better already. When I pass away, I don't want them to say I passed away. I want them to say I retired. It will be on page 8.
By the way, all of those photos are beautiful!!!
Good morning,
I am up with the birds and wishing everyone a peaceful day. More pix later today.
All of them are quite beautiful!
