It's probably not quite a classic, but I just finished watching the four hour (over the last three nights) restored version of "Once Upon a Time in America". As far as I am concerned the single greatest modern gangster movie, including The Godfather. The two hour theatrical release was pure garbage and made so sense at all, but with pieces from the cutting room floor and sections held back the whole vision and story of Sergio Leone comes to life. Of course Robert DeNiro was fantastic. A true classic.
I wonder if I can find it.
