Purple Asters
Later … FLOWERS!
Wonderful! And looking forward to the flowers!
There is something so refreshing to viewing your Spring photos - always a pleasant and restful sight.
Is that an old raft or collapsed dock in the creek Mac?
Wonderful photo.
It could once have been a bridge, that dislodged when the creek flooded, but only A.Mac has been there so I'm just guessing.
I believe it's the remains of a make-shift dock.
It seems strange to me that one would need or want a dock on such a small stream. I suppose if it were a tributary to a river that was close a person could keep a boat there in a fairly protected place, if they owned the land.
I will get back to that part of the stream, possibly tomorrow and see if I can get a full frame of whatever it is.
Just posted the flowers …
Until tomorrow … good night.
Excellent shots Mac!, they look like paintings.
2 more beauties!
Absolutely beautiful! Bring on more!
Very nice AMac. The flowers really stand out.
The stream looks like somewhat of an illusion with what ever that is on the left. There looks like a path coming in from the right side of the photo.
I will try to get to that part of the stream later today and take my 80-400 mm zoom lens ... hoping to get whatever it is in full frame.
There appears to be lots of curiosity about that item in the stream - looking forward to the results of your focusing on it.
Speaking of purple flowers, our clematis decided it wasn't dead after all this year.
Looking good, Hal!
The "thing" in the stream was apparently removed by whoever put it there, because, here it is on the bank above where it used to be.
It's plain as day that it's a ''alien space craft''....
That was my first impression.
