My father used to tell me, "If you set out to do something and you actually do it … it isn't 'luck'!"

I'll buy that … for now.

Same here Mac.  When I was a kid, I shot a .22 rifle at a crow sitting on a fence post at a measured 250 yards (maximum effective range for a .22 is about 75 yards).  To my surprise, instead of flying away, the crow turned into a ball of black feathers.  Was it luck or skill??  My assumption is skill.  It only becomes luck if I try it again and miss.  For the last 50 years, I've been very careful to not try it again.

.''caught in the act'' should be the title.

That works; I was thinking … "Coast to Coast Non-Stop Flight."

Sorta like, "I just flew in from LA and, boy are my arms tired".  Beautiful shot.

Mac, this may be a bit off topic but animal pictures are just so cool.  My daughter took the first shot, I got the other one.

201772 Brizzo.jpeg

201772 Brizzo Stuart 1.JPG

We just got him from my brother today.  He's a 10 week old Miniature Schnauzer, totally cute and bouncy.  The second picture has him (he just found out that there was ice cream in the bowl around the corner) with our 17 year old Bichon, Stuart.

The new guy's name is Brizzo.  John, if you're reading this, you will no doubt be happy to note that Brizzo is my daughter's combination of Bryant and Rizzo, the first and third basemen for the Chicago Cubs.

His mission in life; keep the cat in line (and keep Stuart alive; I haven't seen him bounce so much or wag his tail so much in years).

Anything in the way of interesting imagery in these photo/creative arts discussions is welcomed and appreciated, Rock.

Great name. I hope the dogs make you as happy as the ballplayers have made Cub fans over the last 3 years.

How about "White men can't jump, but bees can" or "Crossing the Great Divide"?
