Too close to call but I'll go with #1.
The county fair is a huge social event in our area and a big part of that fair is the creation of projects such as these and many, many others and the prestige that goes with winning a ribbon for your quilt or picture or flower arrangement,, etc
I found these images to be inspiring as well as beautiful - my wife plans to make me an afghan similar to one above and e already have a quilt (from the fair a few years back) that is nearly identical to one above
All are stunning, having to choose one, I'd go with the quilt. Not so much for creativity (quilting is older than me!) but for the amount of work involved, the ability to pass it on to generations, and being wrapped in a quilt is sublime!
I smile at the afghan. An elderly woman made one for me from scrap yarn...I don't know where the yarn was utilized originally, but my afghanis bright green, hot pink, and lemon yellow! She has since passed, I cherish the memory of the arthritic hands that crocheted every stitch. It's pack away in my "treasures" bin!
With all due respect to the others (and it is a tough call) I'm going to go with the quilt also. Probably the country boy in me, but it was a rare home in my childhood and adulthood that didn't have one over the back of the sofa and that one is one anyone would be proud of.

Thanks for stopping by and for the feedback - I agree I liked them all but the quilt is the best
