Patriot Empathy Day - Or Cry Me A River

Today has been proclaimed, ''Patriot Empathy Day - Or Cry Me A River.''

With all the teeth gashing by loyal Patriots fans, it should be noted, that out of concernfor their mental and physical well being, they will have a special day today.

Rules of engagement

1. Bring your own crying towel. Most colors acceptable (pink for the girly men)

2. Bring your own beer to cry in. (this does seem like a waste of beer though)

If rule 1 or 2 are broken, the Patriots will be moved to Jersey City NJ. (now you can really cry in your beer). Chris Christie awaits you with a ''Big Pizza Pie''.

The theme song of the day, for the disheartened Patriots fans is, ''Cry Me a River''.

Will start this festive day with a ''sing a long''.

Cry me a river, cry me a river, cuz I ain't gonna be cryin one for you.

Almost forgot, food will be served. Flat iron steaks and blue ball salad.

Let the festivities began.

They got off lightly. They should have been banned from post season play next season. Still Brady's name and the name of the New England Patriots will go with cheating like bacon and eggs. Their legacy is shot.

Not my life RG. Life is surely more than football. It's a good pastimethough.

You should start a new group...Patriots, right or wrong, I don't care as long as they win.

Catchy don't you think.

They stole the '04 Super Bowl from my team.

For Brady no suspension, no fine

just an embargo on his eligibility for the Football Hall of Fame say until 25 years after he retires.

Now that's meaningful.

I tend to be as sympathetic as I am toward Barry Bonds. Had a great career going anyway, would have most likely made the HOF anyway, but it just wasn't enough for him. Bonds brought his problem on himself and so has Tom Brady. He'll still have the rings and still be in the NFL Hall of Fame someday. However there will always be lingering questions of just how much of his success was his talent and how much of it was just plain cheating. I predict he turns out to be a very bitter old man, because of that question always dogging him.

''Hey, even the worst bartender at Spring Break does pretty well. Think about it, a 2-year-old could [be NFL Commissioner] and still make money."

What!!! a 2 year old. 44 million to a two year old.

Hello Owners, Kavika here, I'll do the job for 22 million. Yup, that's correct Mr. Kraft. I don't suppose that you and Roger will be having dinner together anytime soon. Soooo why not make the change complete. Besides I don't speak with forked tongue. Trust me....Smile.gif

''Elway & lot winning two back-to-back superbowls''.....Hold the fort, your telling me some guy from the bible played for the broncos. So that's how they won.

Gotta love this soapopera...Wells ripped into Brady and the Pats on social media...Goodell shows up at Robert Krafts frontdoor, singing ''look who's coming to dinner''..Brandy stuns media with this gem...I'll admit that I have one flat ball, the other one is oblong, kinda.

BillyBobChex, let slip, I'm trading myself to Cleveland, Mr. Football is a better quarterback than my close personal friend, Tom. Roger Goodell pulls rabbit out of hat, it bites him.

Goodell, concerned about concussions, authorizes the return of leather helmets.

USA Today reports that Russell Wilson is really Goodells love child. My cousin Sonny Sixkiller screams, he's black!!! Goodell isblack,I'm walkin' in tall cotton now.I gave Sonny a zanax and explained to him that he's Indian, not black.

Goodell authorizes teams to draftstudents in middle school. His logic..We got to many criminals in the NFL, little kids can't be criminals. Ignoring the fact that ''little kids'' brains are not fully developed.

Back to the real world...N.Y. Times headline screams....''The NFLcouldn't manage a one car funeral.'' The National Inquirer reports that Al Davis has returned to football and drafts Gary Puckett asthe Raiders quarterback of the future.

Goodell announces that he is joining the Republican Clown Car and is running for President of the United States. Asks for meeting with the owners of America. Heard saying to Sheldon on a recent visit to Las Vegas, I can be a real emperor, and I have no clothes.

This was later confirmed by the ''Mustang Ranch'' in Pahrump NV.

mickey , that "stain " has been there since "spygate" bring that up and the Pats are the first ones thought of , not the broncos OR jets who got caught doing the same thing later after the Pats paid their fines. All goodall did was give brady 4 PAID days off, and as someone else here @NT said piss him off , and when he gets pissed off other teams loose big. all because he wouldn't give the NFL his cell phone , no other evidence but supesition.

with that all said the fine for the franchise is fine , they had employees that were in a position to do the deed, from now on let all teams beware, because your most likely next.

As for pissing off brady , I think he and the team WILL bring it to the field , especially against those that lost to them in the playoffs, and does anyone think that brady doesn't have a single driving goal as of right now? to be the only 5 time superbowl champion ship ring bear as a QB? astirik or not ? because it will happen . He has some years before he retires.

lets make the rule( I heard this one from the opposition after the shellacking the ravens took and just after the Colts got their donkey gelded) any Patriots win henseforth and forever is null and void in perpetuity.

I saw a comparison of Brady vs Montana , and brady it was said didn't measure up , well IMHO all the greats in the sport , cannot be compared to another , because they are all in leagues of their own from the times that they had to play in , the sport will go on , the franchises will survive , the only thing that changes is the fans , they become more negative thinking the only way someone can make it nowadays is to cheat because no one can actually be that good, sorry the fan most likely isn't that good and thinks the teams can only play as well as if they were on the field , that says more about the crybaby fans than it does the people that play or the sport.

prediction? the pats are use to the labels and the haters , they use it to their advantage and the patriots nation fans , be they from southie , or the heart of Wyoming , say suck it up buttercup , now bring it to the fuckin field because that's where the games played , see y'all next season.

NAAAH , no flags flying here , but what was funny was I was asked in sept who I thought would be going to the SB , when I said who I thought based on the stats at that time , I was jeered and derided , remember I live in bronco country for the most part. of course when I was right , I got derided and jeered all the more , and all I did was smile . BUT I did point out that both the broncos and colts were being made to eat off plates from then on , seems anytime they got something in a bowl they choked...... yeah I know how to make friends.... lol have an excellent day too Kav.

you do know why Wyoming doesn't have a professional football team?

If they got one , then Denver would want one.
