Is the United States a Christian Nation? Not in the way conservatives would like to think. We may be majority Christian, but our government is wisely secular. And that’s what the question is really getting at.
YouTuber Alex J. O’Connor (a.k.a. CosmicSkeptic) does a nice job running through the arguments conservatives use when they say the U.S. is a Christian Nation before swiftly rebutting all of them.

It’s a sad day when a foreigner knows more about our country’s secular history than our current President…
Can someone send this to pseudo-historian David Barton? And maybe all of Congress?

Indeed.
That was one of the most brilliantly stated truths about America and religion I have ever heard. It shows, with no possible argument to the contrary, that America is a secular nation and not a Christian one at all or in any form. The sad part is that most if not all religious people on this site who venture into this seed will not watch it in it's entirety and if they do, will close their minds completely to what is said, no matter how true it really is.
Well worth watching.
Hello.>>>>>>
I have a question about the view of the Declaration of Independence by Thomas Jefferson. The video smartly points out the "Declaration of Independence" rough draft which does not mention, "Creator" or "Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions." Now then, did Congress smooth and pass that version?
