I would highly recommend the movie "I'll Be Me" , which is a documentary about his final tour once he had been diagnosed. It is one of the best documentaries I have seen.

I had the biggest crush on him when I was little.
I thought he was very talented. He was a great guitarist. 81 is not bad for a guy that did as much booze and coke as he did.
