Laying on my Back, Staring up at the Adirondack Sky

Well, I can't say I'm happy about it, but here I am.  Back among you....a week vacation to the lake house was much needed and lots of fun.  Had to do some repairs, but that comes with running a property.  The weather was mid to upper 70s (so was the lake water) and sunny most the time we were there.  I was laying on the dock in the sun, staring at the sky and I got an idea to send you some pics.  Not sure if it will translate well to photos, but the sky was what I consider an 'impossible blue'.

I hope you enjoy.  I'll load some other photos in another essay.

I hope you enjoy these.  Still haven't decided if I'm cutting off the vacation beard or beginning a retirement beard.....

The title of this article made me think of a C&W song entitled: "I got tears in my ears from lying on my back, crying cause you left me dear"

If you could play a song background for your article, would it be Joni Mitchell's ""Both Sides Now"?

Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way

Enjoyed the clouds, now looking forward to your photo essay.

I'll have to think about that a bit, Buzz.  My tastes in music run a little different.....I have a song trying to percolate up through my brain tissue....let me pull it out of the gray matter.....

Blue Skies by Willie Nelson

Blue Skies -- Willie Nelson

Lyrics
Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothin' but blue skies do I see
Bluebirds singin' a song
Nothin' but blue skies from now on
I never saw the sun shinin' so bright
Never saw things goin' so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you're in love, my how they fly by
Blue days, all of them gone
Nothin' but blue skies from now on
Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothin' but blue skies do I see
Blue days all of them gone
Nothin' but blue skies from now on
Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothin' but blue skies do I see
Blue days all of them gone
Nothin' but blue skies from now on
Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothing but blue skies, do I see
Blue days all of them gone
Nothin' but blue skies from now on

I sit by the water
I sit by the water
Watch it go by
Clouds going by
I'm watching the sky
