Aditya Pratama aka Sarkodit is an Indonesian illustrator who creates surreal, multi-layered paintings where figurative forms unravel into dreamlike scenarios. Everything becomes fluid, and familiar characters shape-shift in a variety of ways. Inspired by cinema and storybooks alike, Pratamas work has a strong narrative component to it, though the colorful, elaborate shapes he paints can be interpreted in a variety of ways. Ordinary situations, like reading a book at a park, are not what they seem and even inanimate objects can come alive with colorful personalities.
I am fascinated of late with articles on art, all kinds of art.
These illustrations are amazing and it is fascinating to think about dream sequences that inspired them

Glad you liked them.
As someone who can barely draw a straight line with a ruler in hand, I love to look at the creations of those that can draw and pain and sculpt.
Thanks for the feedback

"Whimsical is the perfect word to describe these creative pictures!! Good find!!
It's almost an amalgamation of Native American and Cave Painting.
Didn't know we had so many surrealists here.
It takes some intelligence to see the beauty sometimes...
Absolutely spectacular...

I was thinking native American meets modern expressionism, but what do I know except what it says to me

It's like a combination of Dali and Chagall.
