I bet they think you're a cool grandfather. Glad you're going to Disney world rather than Disney land. Apparently several people contracted legionnaires disease while visiting. Be careful!!
That is Neuschwanstein Castle made at the turn of the century by Mad King Ludwig. It's located in a small town called Fussen and i have been there. There is nothing to fear in Bavaria except for old Nazis and their new friends.
I've been there, Buzz-took the bus ride up, then the walk across to it. Crazy King Ludwig's dream castle, that has never been lived in by anyone. It is truly a treat and an incredible testament to the abilities of man to build up there. The scenery is fantastic. I'll have to see if I can find the photos I took form inside the castle....
I like your photo. I know you took the photo but did you use photo shop to overlay the stars? I don't know any technical terms to ask the right questions
Image editing software ay include a feature generally called "LAYERS"; if you begin with a photograph, etc., that is the "BASE LAYER." Additional LAYERS can be placed on top of the base layer and other layers on top of those.
LAYERS can be modified independently of one another and their transparency/opacity adjusted so as to allow layers below to be seen simultaneously. Once the set of layers work together in the satisfaction of the artist, they are "FLATTENED" and saved as the new, edited BASE LAYER.
That's the short version … and glad you asked because I love to talk about, analyze and experiment with image-editing.
Every couple of days I text my grandkids … "How Many Days 'tll Disney?"
They send the correct number instantly!
LOL, are you surprised...
Not in the … hold on … getting a text message …
…

Did not know that, PJ … thanks for the heads up.
I've seen Cinderella's castle at Disney World a few times already. Actually, up until 5 or 10 years ago I would have liked to tour the original:
But unfortunately, I consider Germany (Bavaria?) a dangerous destination these days.
But I do get to see a lot of Chinese gates, these days. LOL

That's a beautiful castle. I keep hoping my son gets stationed in Germany so I can go visit all those castles and take a river cruise
You'll have a great time. You have to see Rottenberg on the Tauber. It is the most magical place on earth.

What a beautiful place.
A-Mac;
Is it ok to call you that?
I like your photo. I know you took the photo but did you use photo shop to overlay the stars? I don't know any technical terms to ask the right questions
"A. Mac" is just fine.

E.A Some use the word " Transparencies " see Gimp 2 a perfect program for that type of use!
Thanks for the explanation.
Layers, in fact, are analogous to transparencies upon which elements of varying opacity can be placed.
I think that "LAYERS" may be a term first used by ADOBE PHOTOSHOP as the name for that feature.
I certainly hope so, I've been calling him that for a few years now........
LOL. Me too, but slightly different: A.Mac
