So I ask: what do these members of Congress think Israel should do? If children as young as 13 or 14 were roaming the streets of New York, Los Angeles or Boston stabbing elderly women as they shopped at the supermarket or waited at a bus stop, would they protest the apprehension and prosecution of the perpetrators? Of course not. No country in the world would tolerate terror in its cities, regardless of the age of the terrorists. Israel has a right — according to international law — to protect its citizens from constant terror attacks, even those committed by young Palestinians. Indeed, it has an obligation to do so.

Must we tolerate hypocrisy?

Buzz: I know you can't view TouYube videos. But if you search for it you might be able to find it elsewhere. Its "Ask for Death" produed by "Palestinian Media Watch".

All I could get was:

However, it's been well documented that the Palestinians, especially Hamas, teach their children to hate Jews, and they glorify the martyrs who kill Jews.

I'm surprised the Gatestone Institute "fake news" advocates haven't denied the facts in this article yet. Sure as hell they would disagree with the opinion.  Could it be they're all on "vacation" because of the typical content of their comments?

Legislation proposed by members of the "progressive caucus" — entitled "Promoting Human Rights by Ending Israeli Military Detention of Palestinian Children Act" — does not explicitly state what constitutes a child within the context of its proposed cut in U.S. to Israel.

The Convention on the Rights of the Child [cited in the bill] DOES 'explicitly state what constitutes a child' and NO cuts would happen if the Israelis upheld that treaty to which they are a signatory.

While noting that children between the ages of 12-17 are held and prosecuted by Israeli military courts, the bill fails to acknowledge that some of the most barbaric terrorist attacks against Jewish Israelis have been committed by Palestinian teens who have been recruited by terrorist leaders.

The author of the seeded article failed to acknowledge that since March of 2016 the Israelis haven't released the number of children they are holding in military prisons. Oh and BTW, the Israeli military courts have a 100% conviction rating. The Israelis have also ramped up their use of indefinite detention.

From the bill:

In 2013, the annual Country Report on Human Rights Practices for Israel and the Occupied Territories (“Annual Report”) published by the Department of State noted that Israeli security services continued to abuse, and in some cases torture minors, frequently arrested on suspicion of stone-throwing, in order to coerce confessions. The torture tactics used included threats, intimidation, long-term handcuffing, beatings, and solitary confinement.

There are other violations cited in the bill from the Department of State's 2013 report. Here is the link to the bill if you'd actually like to read what it contains:

The US isn't the only UN nation that is looking into the Israelis military detention of children.

Here is an article from Human Rights Watch.
