Ivanka Trump Slammed For Tweet About Oprah’s Golden Globes Speech
It’s been 24 hours and social media is still buzzing about the inspiring speech Oprah Winfrey gave when she accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award at last night’s Golden Globes. Among those who praised her words of hope was Ivanka Trump — but her words didn’t go over so well with the rest of the Twitter.
“Just saw Oprah’s empowering & inspiring speech at last night’s #GoldenGlobes,” she said on her father’s favorite social media platform. “Let’s all come together, women & men, & say #TimesUp.”
What started off as positive words of encouragement for the world and support for the newly launched Times Up initiative to combat sexual harassment turned into a harsh backlash as figures in Hollywood called her out — mostly about Donald Trump’s alleged behavior.

Hollywood types worried about Trump, Trashing Invankas "Positive" message, when in their own little tight nit circle they hid actual expected predatory actions they participated in themselves , and all for the almighty millions of dollar THEY were making.

And if you look at any of the pictures of the "runway" for the Globes - tell me - just tell me - that showing most of their tits and ass, even if it's in a black outfit, is not an oxymoron to their bashing.

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, in the elite circle of Hollywood, and political liberals like the Obama's knew what scumbags and predators that Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey were and still are. But is was OK to cover it up and look the other way because they were good little liberals and gave bigly to liberal and progressive causes and candidates.

Here's the point in case you missed it, she doesn't see things the way Trump does so, what makes you think she see's things the way Harvey does?
I love the picture of her kissing him on the cheek. It's entertaining.........and a whole bunch of Hollywood is getting caught up in revelations of their sexual assault.......and all they can say is 'But Trump!'. Seems like they really need to get off of the bully pulpit.
And Cheers to Ivanka for standing up and saying somethign positive about this whole movement to expose these people. It's sad that these peopel are so busy slobbering about her father, they can't see their obviously hypocrtical posiiton.
She sees them from the typical TV/Movie Star mode where 'anything goes until somoene gets caught, then we'll all point fingers at him' is acceptable.
Somehow, I think you're wrong here, at least about Oprah. I can say that she won't run for president, she see's she can do more from the sidelines than she can from the Oval Office.

If one of them writes something that I agree with, if I catch it, the least I do is vote it up. On occasion, I will acknowledge their comment in writing.
The people that ripped into Ivanka's comment agreed with her comment, and yet, found a way - a back door - to discredit her comment and rip into her.
That's beyond "if you have nothing nice to say".

I think what Ivanka said was a very good way to support what has become a movement, not only in Hollywood but, in the rest of business and, media, I hope it continues and, I hope that those who have come out against what Ivanka said or, against Ivanka realize that the daughter of a pig like Trump isn't a pig herself.
