Boeing 777 Design Flaw......

Boeing 777 Design Flaw......

Look carefully at the text in the attached screen image from CNN.  Well, they have a point. One of the design bugs of the 777 is that it will tend to lose altitude when the fuel tanks run dry. More crack investigative reporting by major media.  Very profound CNN.  Thanks for making my day and confirming your utter stupidity.

Surely they can glide after that happens.<grin>YEA, ALL THE WAY DOWN TILL THEY CRASH.

BRILLIANT REPORTING........................................NOT!

I have first hand knowledge of this problem.  I once flew on a Air France 777 to Paris.  It was a really nice plane but, after 11 hours in the air the fuel tanks must have been getting pretty empty.  Sure enough, when I looked out the window, I could see that the plane wasn't as high in the air as it had been.  We kept loosing altitude for about a half hour until we finally hit the ground.  Fortunately there was a CDG runway there or it could have been bad.
