I took out most of the original color, replaced it with a "toned" and somewhat faded tint … and hope to have "taken" this riverboat back in time.
I leave it to the discretion of the viewer to determine if I succeeded.
Sort of "romantic".
Beautiful Mac.
Sadly I haven't taken a photo in a couple of months....I'll have to dig around my old photos to see if there is anything worth posting.
I was going through some old albums and found two b/w ones that got me an A in my college photography class. Sadly, I have no way to create a file for them on my puter or I would post them.
Photograph the prints with your cell phone, e-mail it to your computer, copy it to your desk top and upload it.
I only have an old flip phone so the camera quality isn't very good. Maybe a friend who has a newer cell can do it for me.
We can dig it!
Wonderful photo. So many of yours are perfect for the company who transfers any photo onto a glass plate.
Interesting experiment. However, if the intention is to take it back in time, I think sepia would be more convincing.
Will post same subject, different scenes … in sepia … tomorrow.
Very cool.
