More from My Photo Shoot (weeks ago) at the Jersey Coast
All the shots are now on hard drives … but many have yet to be readied for publication; when the tedium of the process gets to me, I break it up by taking "literal-directly-from-the-camera images, to their "creative-more-painterly" possibilities.
Sometimes the creativity doesn't work … and goes to the trash … other times, it does work, and, sometimes, I'm can't decide one way or the other; so, I'm counting on any/all of you to give your honest assessments on the following "creations."

Sock it to me!
They're nice, Mac... but...
We want fawns!
Fawns to come … promise.
And … promise kept.
Adorable...
"We want fawns!"
Okay, here he is:
Ayyy
Good one!
More sand dunes, please.
I miss the dunes of the Jersey Shore
Nice, as always.
Though when I heard Jersey Shore I was relieved when there was no pictures of Snooki.
If I had the chance to photograph Snooki …
I'd photograph sand dunes.
A great article. My thoughts for each photo:
1. IMO a little too soft focus - dreamlike quality a little overworked.
2. As described, an Asian motif perfectly executed, even to the extent of what appears to be bamboo leaves. I have seen many paintings here very much like it.
3. Very nicely done, and I won't criticize the sunburst - it's just fine.
4. The less sharply delineated legs tells the very story you have stated - the unsteadiness of a fawn's first steps. Excellent.
The sand dune path is my favorite, probably because of the many summers I spent at the beach.
Photo 5), actually a digital art image, depicts what almost every visitor to Atlantic City, New Jersey … knows as an "iconic" bit of The Boardwalk.
I've never tasted it, and now it's too late. It'll pull my dentures out. LOL
