Three Peaceful Pictures

In NATURE, there are many possibilities for finding moments and images that evoke …

~ Peace ~

And sharing such moments and images with friends … gives me satisfaction and peace.

Trying to keep these black eyed Susans alive until we can plant them somewhere where they might rise again next year when I realized someone was watching me intently.

Can you see her?

Looks like he's got himself a bee breakfast.

The green lynx spider is a webless predator

Omigawd ... gives me the oogeys! I looked them up and it appears they're very beneficial for gardens. I'd rather she eat flies rather than bees, but its bite is apparently relatively harmless to humans.

Lynx spiders get their name from the way that they sometimes pounce on their prey in a catlike fashion. These spiders spend their time hunting for insects in bushes and low plants. They are fast runners, but can occasionally be seen lying in wait for prey beside flowers. They build no web for prey capture, but they do release a silk dragline as they hunt among leaves.
While the Green Lynx spider aggressively attacks its insect prey, it very seldom bites humans.

They may be fast runners but I can virtually guarantee you if one came toward me, I'd be outrunning her in no time. Actually, a differing article [from Texas A&M] said that the female would only bite humans if they came to close to her egg sac.

My new picture was taken at Walt Disney World last August … the age difference from the last avatar photo is obvious (to me at least) … but I am grateful to be active and healthy.

Actually I think you look younger - certainly happier.

I have so many photos that seem to say "peace" to me, but not only does this one whispers "peace", but says so much more - words like "dedication", "love", "joy", "faith", "eternity".....
