First Frost of the Fall, No Fish Caught … No Complaints.
When a cold front moves into the Pocono Mountains in October, the barometer rises and fish in still waters experience equilibrium difficulties … and to compensate, they usually head for deep water and suspend somewhere between the water surface and lake bottom … and generally lose their appetite until several days of steady barometric pressure.
In case no one knew where I was going with this … it's a fisherman's excuse for three days of intense fishing … cold hands, miles of walking and casting for naught …with not one complaint … as God, Nature, the Cosmos … call it and believe it to be what you will … made it a blessed time.
… my cold, fishless weekend concluded just fine … as follows …

The sunset provided chills of the literal and figurative variety.
I wish you all had been there to share them.
"Don't forget: Beautiful sunsets need cloudy Skies" (Paulo Coelho)
Unfortunately I get mostly cloudy skies, and a colourful sunset very very rarely.
Even if the birds were added, it would have been a beautiful photo originally, but with the birds, special.
That is absolutely gorgeous!
Stunning Mac.
Dear Friend AMac: Yesterday Mrs. E, and I went apple picking, hay riding, corn maze strolling, wine tasting and enjoyed a picnic along the Lake Ontario Shoreline.
Leaves still all green here.
After first 1-3 morning white frosts will start fall foliage season.
Ain't fall grand?
Peace and Abundant Blessings Always.
Enoch.
I do miss the colourful Ontario Autumn, which would be similar to what you enjoy.
Simply Beautiful......
Only way to describe such.....
"Nature is the Art of God" (Sir Thomas Browne)
A'Mac, I am imagining that's you fourth in the rank picture facing flying in the rays of God. (Smile.)

When I'm not being a Philadelphia EAGLE … I am a Cormorant in one of God's crepuscular rays of spiritual light.
Good call.
LOL. A.Mac. What is it about Philadelphia? Even the Liberty Bell is cracked. (I saw that with my own eyes.)

It was in a fight and came out with a spit decision.
"...a spit decision?" Here's my spit decision - it belongs here because it's about art.
Ya' got me!
"SPLIT" decision.
Well, I've seen spit decisions too.
BTW, Great photo. Brings back some memories too.
Also, the seeds and photos arrived. Fantastic.
Thank you Mac.
Enjoy the butterflies to come and the photos.
Low expectorations on my part.
LOL
