It's been widely reported that trump watches 4 hours of cable news a day, so this isn't really a shock. Besides, gotta save up energy for golf and lets face it, lying on twitter 30 times a day must be exhausting.
The exhausting part is trying to keep all the lies straight. That's why they say telling the truth is much easier than telling a lie. It's pretty easy to remember the truth, but remembering a lie and coordinating it with multiple layers of subsequent lies is mentally and physically exhausting.
Judge Judy says it all the time 'You don't need to have a good memory to tell the truth.'
