Not 9, but 10 Randomly Chosen Photos From China
My photos are chosen from thousands I have taken during my 12 1/2 years here in China. Some you may have seen before, but all have been re-edited and framed for these retrospective presentations. Please feel free to ask me anything you would like to know about any of them and what they depict, and if I can overcome the forgetfulness common for my age I will do my best to answer. As an encouragement for me to continue posting these photos, I would appreciate knowing that some of you have visited by at least posting a "thumb-up" if not a comment.
1. Graffiti on the wall of a Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts building.
2. Even the Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts buildings are like canvases.
3. This photo reminded me of a time in the 1970s driving past buildings that looked like these, and the musician friend with me said they looked like they were plugged in.
4. A fun life-size structure on the Arts campus
5. Looking forward to Spring
6. The Arts campus is a joy to walk through when the weather is good
7. The reservoir is about a 20 minute walk from our home.
8. A pagoda on the campus, with mountains behind
9. The Copper Pagodas of Guilin, Guanxi Autonomous Region
10. And I leave you with this titillating bit of Arts Institute pornography
Lots more to come...
Wow!! Even the graffiti is a work of art.
Great photos, Buzz. My favorite is the copper Pagoda's.
I like the subliminal message from 4 and 10: figurative art is OK in China.
Really lovely selection. Who knew you had a school of pornography?
LOL
