A Digital Painting/Poster in the Style of Andrew Wyeth

I have always found the Wyeths paintings and illustrations simultaneously compelling and intriguing. When I myself painted (I gave it up for the 7 or 8th time a year ago), I never tried to emulate the style of the best known of the Wyeths, that being Andrew.

But recently, I found that certain photos could be transformed into "somewhat-Wyeth-like" images; not every photo lends itself to the Wyeth "feel," but earlier today, I think I made such a transformation.

Knowing that being objective about one's own art, is at best sporadic if that, I leave it to you to tell me objectively what you think.

I think I would like to see a couple more of your "Wyeth" stye images before I can "tell" you - perhaps a landscape.

It does Mac, but as Buzz said, a landscape would help.

I have two Wyeth's, ''cranberries and sea running''.

Seems almost more like Jamie. I always like NC myself.

I do like the composition. Feels almost as though it is coming forth from rock.

I prefer to let art be itself.
