I work at a university and my wife wears leggings all the time, I fully support them. The scenery is just so much better.
But seriously, I resent the idea that I, and men in general, cannot control myself. That a woman wearing skin tight...sexy ass pants that really show off her...ass.. and makes me wanna...
Sorry, what was I saying? Yeah, I resent the idea that I cannot control myself!
Clearly men do control themselves all day long and every day - or there would be many millions of rapes and lesser sexual assaults on a daily basis in America alone. But that doesn't mean we aren't going to at least be distracted some by a fit female in tight leggings. It's not necessary to be a creep, but we notice. Being a gentleman means overcoming your baser urges.
And if that fine distinction bothers women, sorry, but that's just too bad. Welcome to the world of biology. Men are turned on by what they see. This is well documented. We are hard wired to objectify women to some extent. That's not the full scope of how we approach women, but it's certainly a significant and fundamental component of it.
But that doesn't mean we aren't going to at least be distracted some by a fit female in tight leggings. It's not necessary to be a creep, but we notice. Being a gentleman means overcoming your baser urges.
Exactly. That part is up to us. It is up to men to not be fucking assholes basically.
We are hard wired to objectify women to some extent.
On that point..... I won't say you are wrong. Speaking purely from personal experience, the sex drive is strong. I can't help it when I see a good looking woman walk by and my mind.. wanders. It just happens.
Darn paywall. But I'm pretty sure I've got the gist.
But yes, I agree that telling us that men can't control themselves around attractive women, whatever those women are wearing, is an insult to men. This mother is telling us that boys raised like her son should be locked up, because that's what we do with people who can't control themselves. She's telling us a lot about herself as a parent.
What the hell does she think he'll see at the beach?
All joking aside that position really is an insult to men. It suggests that we are so primitive that we cannot control ourselves and just act on impulse. I read the actual article, and it really jst seemed to me to be an article that gives men every pass and puts all the onus on women.
That’s not an accurate representation of what was said at all. It was about supporting a strict dress code for uniforms for a k-8 charter elementary school. It had absolutely nothing to do with all females.
It takes a certain self-assurance to pull off a kilt.
When we visited Scotland, my 70-plus year old cousins and some college girls were part of the group. The college girls were shocked by my cousins flirting with the guys in kilts and appraising their calves.
Oh for goodness sake ladies, stop with the kilt nonsense...Only indigenous men really know how to wear a skirt...or in this case what we call a lava lava...
For real, The Rock could be president. Seriously, if he ran he could win, especially against Trump. His speaks well, seems somewhat intelligent, and oh yeah, is fucking Superman with a tan. Basically the exact opposite of Trump. Oh yeah, and people like him. Shit, from what I have seen he is a pretty genuinely cool dude, and I have yet to hear anyone say anything really bad about him.
Just about the only thing I have to say against him is that he can't act.
I disagree. Doom, his first movie "I think" was pretty damn shitty, but over the course of his career I feel like he has gotten a lot better. IMO he has made massive improvement in his acting. And he is one of the top A-list actors around these days.
Ok, so I don't really want him to run for POTUS, but given the choice between him and Trump - I'd vote for the Rock.
Who wouldn't?
And that means things have come to a sad state, indeed.
The mom begged female students to stop wearing leggings on account of the distraction they might cause for her boys and others.
Sounds like a form of sharia mentality.
Yet I think taste is important.
Nobody wants to see me in a speedo. That includes me.
I am pretty close to the most irritated guy on the planet these day. The girls have been gone for months and won't be back until November/December and longer. I am generally kind of pissed off. When the girls are here, normal dress for them is a g-string and T shirt or maybe one of my white office shirts.
So relaxing and calming. Nirvana even. What could be better?
Sorry folks, we got to get out of that sharia mentality and stop ingraining it into our kids.
I have to get to the land down under. I have always wanted to see flocks of budgies. I used to breed them.. and little dutch dwarf bunnies. And yes I know, rabbits have a bad history in Australia, but I still like them.
OK so I true confessions. I live in leggings. The saddest moment was when the last of the big sweater leggings look went out in the mid 90's and my happiness when leggings returned. They are so comfortable.

I fully support them for the same reason.

Agreed. Apparently, we have a better opinion of men than this mom does.
So it seems. Can't imagine how fucked up her boys are.
There's an NT member that thinks all females should only wear skirts. Talk about backward !
Who is that? I would very much like to get suspended. Been a minute
Check your PNs.
Thanks Pat! I appreciate that!

.
Okay, updated for you, and yes, it is all about women.
You don't read the threads thoroughly. I've noticed that numerous times.
This is me and gang in our Pow Wow regalia with some super hot leggings.
The ladies think that we're pretty hot....What, wait it's the ladies that are hot in leggings. Sorry, got carried away there for a minute.
... DAMNNNNNNNNN, talk about bein able to rock that shit.
Very cool. I also like the Scots lads wearing the kilts.
Sam Heughan from Outlander is my latest crush. Smokin' hot in a kilt.
Love a man in a kilt. Maybe we can get Mark in Wyoming to show us his
btw.. this is my favorite Highlander! The original!

To enjoy an man's calves is to have a mature taste in men. I for one do.
Oh for goodness sake ladies, stop with the kilt nonsense...Only indigenous men really know how to wear a skirt...or in this case what we call a lava lava...
We do know how to dress....
No.
He's pretty easy on the eyes, too.
I'd take either. They make my mind take to wandering

Idiocracy was a documentary.
Believe me he is far more than somewhat intelligent, Thrawn.
If you love a man in a kilt, then you must also love listening to the bagpipes.
The guy in the top photo has been in so many movies I've seen here on TV he must be somebody's favourite.
I love that movie, but that dude is French.
I am just saying based off the limited TV coverage I have seen of him. He definitely seems to be somewhat intelligent.
At least his isn't a blathering retard like Trump.
I'll take #2. I like his......eh.....um.......fuzzy boots.
If Jesse Ventura could win, why can't he?
Wait until he is President. Then one side or the other will be calling him the spawn of the devil.
A/noon..Looking good Kavika...I hear lycra can do wonders as well....
I not sure about that, I stick to feather and buckskin....LOLOL
Kavika is hot in his Pow Wow regalia.
Sounds like a form of sharia mentality.

Dude, you work at a university too?
Nope that is home life for me when the friggen department of state pulls their heads out of their collective asses and let my girls come home.
A/noon Dave..Nothing wrong with budgie smugglers (speedos)...our life savers wear them all the time....
LMAO, I have never heard that term before. Not sure how my budgie would have felt about that, LOL.
Hell it is the high light of summer here..budgie smugglers rule...
This was my pretty boy Paulie:
And he wouldn't approve of being compared to a sh@10ng
So he protested.
So true. I witnessed that on the beaches in Nice.
When were you there ? I was there last September.
LOL. Maybe not Shona, but not for me.
Too funny !
We're aloud to say "shlong" right ? lol
Lucky you! I was there in '93. Too long ago.
I had a very Nice time !
LMAO, yeah.. but I had fun spelling it that way. We can also say:
putz, smcuck, schmeckel, shvantz and shtupper.
I think I covered them all...
That should make you
Oooooo... good one!
Thanks for broadening my vocabulary :D
When I was a kid we had a neighbor that had a german shepherd named "Putzie".
My parents and other adults would laugh about it and I wondered why, lol.
A/noon I had a green budgie..I called him Shrek....Nice budgie...they are here in flocks of thousands in the outback...great little birds...
I have to get to the land down under. I have always wanted to see flocks of budgies. I used to breed them.. and little dutch dwarf bunnies. And yes I know, rabbits have a bad history in Australia, but I still like them.
That is the new shark repellent....he will never be eaten by a shark...or a croc...
LOL Pat... glad I could be of some help!
You know me! I can't help but teach. LOL!
He's umm . . . comfortable.
Sharia mentality? Here's the winner of the 2019 Miss Saudi Arabia beauty contest:
OMG. Those HANDS!!! I can't CONTROL myself.....
Evangelicals only wish that could be the future of American women.
So tiny. So delicate. Almost . . . Trumpian.
Yep, there you go. LOL.
OK so I true confessions. I live in leggings. The saddest moment was when the last of the big sweater leggings look went out in the mid 90's and my happiness when leggings returned. They are so comfortable.
My wife wears them 90% of the time. I think (hope) they are here to stay.
I can appreciate a man who appreciates his wife.
I adore her. I do not believe in the supernatural or anything, but if there is such a thing as soulmates we are it.
Get ready for the next craze ... men wearing leggings...
It has already happened... The darker side...
No no no
See, some fashion options are just objectively awful.
There’s a debate?
I’d like to give whoever invented yoga pants a big sloppy kiss ....
