Although this is posted under The Lighter Side / Humour, it's really not so funny.

I posted this music video a while back...its sort of related. Great insight into one of the dominant types of Millennial subcultures:

(Buzz-- I don't know if you can find this video on Chinese sites. The title is "#Selfie", the group calls themselves "The Chainsmokers". It must've been popular-- YouTube claims 557,725, 822 Views!)

"The Chainsmokers"

From Wikipedia:

The Chainsmokers  are an American DJ and production duo consisting of Alexander "Alex" Pall and Andrew "Drew" Taggart. They started out by releasing remixes of songs by indie artists. The  EDM - pop  duo achieved a breakthrough with their 2014 song " #Selfie ", which became a top twenty single in several countries. They have won a Grammy award [3] , two  American Music Awards , [4]  seven  Billboard Music Awards  and nine  iHeartRadio Music Awards . [5]  According to  Forbes  2019 list of highest paid celebrities, The Chainsmokers were the highest paid DJs, dethroning  Calvin Harris  after six years. [6]

That's amazing that they had it!

(I suppose that means that that video was more popular than I had realized).

Incidentally, a while back someone who knows about those things said that often YouTube fakes the viewer count! (They raise the number up YUGELY on popular videos...in hope of getting more people spending more time on their site).
