Homophobes Freak Out Over Doritos, Brilliant Troll Strikes Back

They're baaack.

Mike Melgaard, wizard behind the Target Trolling of 2015 has gotten a new job. Back in August when Target announced that it was no longer selling toys in gendered sections, Melgaard posed as a customer service representative to respond to outraged homophobic and transphobic commenters.

Doritos announced yesterday that they will be rolling out rainbow-colored chips in support of Pride and to encourage donations to the It Gets Better Project.

What assholes, right? Well, clearly some people think so. Take, for example, Jeni, who curiously disparages Facebook as well ... on Facebook.

"Facefuck" has such a better ring to it, though.

And then there's dear Dora, who is indomitable when it comes to the health concerns regarding only this specific kind of Doritos.

Oh Dora, choose your battles. Doritos are not the hill to die on.

Then some confusion about which junk food products would be banned.

Guess ol' Peter's also boycotted Shell, Walmart and Citibank then!

Even Taco Bell wasn't safe.

Oh no! This only leaves hundreds of other chain restaurants to plug your arteries with!

And then poor Nic, who seemed astonished that a company would have a "politcal" agenda.

Actually, corporations don't have any agendas. They just love you and are the parent that never held you when you were a baby.

So what have we learned from this, kids? Watch who you call out on the internet. After all, corporations are people, too!

Oh Dora, I admire your strength. Never give up, baby.

Now everyone follow @MikeMelgaard and enjoy the beautiful nefariousness that flows forth from his soul. And his Facebook, where his brilliant work lives.

Now the only problem, finding them! I have looked in a couple of stores so far and am going to look elsewhere until I find them!Grin.gif

The threshold for "brilliance" has declined precipitously.

I wanted to get a bag of them and see if there is a way for me to preserve them and keep them on one of my wall shelves.
