Jingtailan , the world-renowned cloisonné enamel representing one of China's most time-honored forms of art, has undergone a revival in the modern era, thanks to the efforts and wisdom of Chinese craftsmen.
Technicians in the Beijing Enamel Factory Co Ltd have been working to achieve breakthroughs in designing and creating cloisonné enamel artworks.
Let's see how cloisonné enamel artworks, China's national intangible cultural heritage, are made in a factory with over 60 years of history.

During my first December here I toured a factory where these enamel artworks were being produced. I can't find any of the photos I took there - it was 13 yeas ago.
I have two birds that are cloisonné. I purchased them many years ago during one of my many trips to China. They are quite beautiful.
The beauty of the artwork is perfect for Christmas Day.
Here they are.
