Op/Ed...Democrats Want a Destroyed Economy and an Unpopular President
On the other hand, Democrats are probably wondering why a slumping economy and possible recession doesn’t erode the President’s popularity. The answer is that they miscalculated—again. President Trump, his remarkable and competent Vice President Mike Pence and their team of experts have responded magnificently. In fact, President Trump has had more positive public exposure leading the country through this crisis, while the House of Representatives led by the Wicked Witch of the West Pelosi...

Democrats having long hoped for a recession to aid in their defeat of the President they hate.  They hate Trump more than they love America.  There are few limits as to what they are willing to see Americans punished for electing him and coerce is into voting them back into power.  Democrats have miscalculated and are upset that Trump is strengthened by his handling of the crisis.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

When it comes to undermining President Trump, the Democrats can’t seem to walk and chew gum at the same time. Before the coronavirus tanked the entire world’s economy, their big hope was that a recession would help them destroy America’s booming jobs economy and blame it on the President.

So, was the coronavirus epidemic a dream come true? At first, they probably thought so. They tried to insinuate President Trump reacted slowly to the Chinese Bat Soup Virus (in China they just call it “virus”).

That one didn’t fly because President Trump reacted quickly in January restricting travel from China. As he did that, old-bat Democrats like Joe Biden accused President Trump of xenophobia and racism.

Of course, we know that Joe just loves the Chinese. They took great care of his son Hunter, who hitched a ride on the Vice President’s plane and worked out a billion-dollar deal through a Chinese money laundering scheme. “Nothing illegal there, folks,” said Joe and his mainstream media echo chamber.

If Democrats can’t pin the coronavirus pandemic on President Trump, how can they point to a slumping economy and say, “See? We told you this President was bad”?

They can’t. You know Democrats have lost an argument when they either shut up or change the subject. Then they drink their cup of Kool-Aid that results in collective amnesia.

On the other hand, Democrats are probably wondering why a slumping economy and possible recession doesn’t erode the President’s popularity. The answer is that they miscalculated—again.

President Trump, his remarkable and competent Vice President Mike Pence and their team of experts have responded magnificently. In fact, President Trump has had more positive public exposure leading the country through this crisis, while the House of Representatives led by the Wicked Witch of the West Pelosi has—again—not been up to the challenge.

Even when Democrats get a huge government spending package and short-term economic bail out, they can’t seem to accept yes for an answer. They are congenitally unable to rid themselves of their inclination towards pork barrel spending on pet projects like  Planned Parenthood  and  climate change tax credits .

Note to Democrats: Inserting poison pills in legislation with the intent to make the President look bad doesn’t work with President Trump. He doesn’t care how he looks. President Trump is no “read my lips” George H.W. Bush, who lost reelection over a broken campaign promise that Democrats helped him break.

You only have to watch President Trump’s unscripted gut-check approach to challenges to see that he won’t be sabotaged by ankle biters like Chuck Schumer and his band of chittering spider monkeys. And he accepts absolutely no crap from the fleas that infest those simians: the mainstream press.

In the meantime, Democrats are probably telling themselves, “None of this would be happening if Joe Biden were alive.” Where is Joe? He has been totally absent from this crisis. He has no plan to get American through this pandemic other than to say President Trump is doing it wrong.

Asking an alpha guy like Donald Trump to stay silent and patient while doctors dither and whine about a shortage of face masks is like asking Old Faithful not to spout on schedule. It’s not going to happen. So, if you’re going to be on President Trump’s team, you’d better be productive, honest and loyal to the mission.

Otherwise, plan on meeting the same fate as Democrats during the next election.

....Sleazy Joe Biden looks more like some drunken bum heckling heroes who are determined to beat back the COVID-19 pandemic than the next president. His latest tactic to win over voters is to attack the Trump Administration and pretend he knew about the virus before everyone else.

But, in reality, many shortages our hospitals are facing are the results of team Obama-Biden using up America’s stockpile of protective masks and never bothering to replenish it. The Trump Administration and everyday Americans are shocked and appalled at the reckless disregard Sleazy Joe demonstrated when in the White House.

According to notoriously left-wing Bloomberg News, “after the H1N1 influenza outbreak in 2009, which triggered a nationwide shortage of masks and caused a 2- to 3-year backlog orders for the N95 variety, the stockpile distributed about three-quarters of its inventory and didn’t build back the supply.”

And the left-leaning LA Times supported the verified facts about the shortage confirming that “a federally backed task force and a safety equipment organization both recommended to the Obama administration that the stockpile be replenished of the 100 million masks used after the H1N1 outbreak.”

When the COVID-19 pandemic landed on U.S. soil, the country was short more than 600,000 potentially life-saving masks because Sleazy Joe and Obama were too lazy to do their job.

President George W. Bush called for a stockpile of personal protective gear as part of the National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza in 2005. President Bush made the stockpile of masks a central piece of the plan to protect citizens from contracting potentially deadly viruses.

According to data from the CDC, the H1N1 virus, aka swine flu, epidemic in 2009 infected upwards of 60 million Americans. Hospitals cared for approximately 274,000, and 12,469 people died. One might think that over the next six years, Biden and Obama would restock. Instead, they pushed anti-business regulations and made healthcare unaffordable....

accused President Trump of xenophobia and racism.

That's the Democrats go to tactic when things don't go their way.  They have failed time and again and STILL can't understand why people didn't vote for their "shoe in" candidate last presidential cycle and will more than likely do it again this coming November.

4 more years of President Trump equates to 4 more years of temper tantrums and wasted time and money from the Democrats and their mindless lemmings.

According to the man's wife, they got their information from trump's briefing...so, yes, his MISINFORMATION killed the man

A Phoenix-area man has died and his wife was in critical condition after the couple took chloroquine phosphate, an additive used to clean fish tanks that is also found in an anti-malaria medication touted by   Donald Trump   as a treatment for Covid-19.

Banner Health said on Monday the couple in their 60s got sick within half an hour of ingesting the additive. The man could not be resuscitated at hospital but the woman was able to throw up much of the chemical.

“Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure,” the woman told NBC.

She said her advice would be: “Don’t take anything. Don’t believe anything. Don’t believe anything that the president says and his people … call your doctor.”

I feel for this woman and the death of her husband, however, it is obvious these people did not listen to what the president said.

Show us where Trump said to use chloroquine phosphate.

Here's a hint....He never did.

Simply ridiculous.  The drug Trump mentioned has been around about 70 years or so as has been used before for off label reasons bya Doctors Rx.  There was no real danger in a doctor Rxing that medication for this situation.  The real idiot in all this besides the usual TDS suspects is the Governor of Nevada actually banning doctors from using that medication on their covid -19 patients in that state.

We will never be gagged by our domestic enemies.  Nor will Trump be by his / our bitter opposition.  We and Trump accept no blame whatsoever for what happened in that  case.  We support our President openly offending and triggering the TDS afflicted who still resent that we elected him President.  We intend to re elect him as we recover from this pandemic without support of his opposition and restore our economy they fought to bring down from day one. This summer will bring about a new round of tax cuts to restore us to pre pandemic levels.

Some simply begrudge America any success at all as long as Trump is president and openly root for bad things to happen to us as a nation in their vain hope to coerce us to replace Trump as our President.  That Trump is rising in voter job approval in the face of the current crisis is treated by them as a direct personal insult.

Monkeys throwing shit at each other is not very informative.  And it loses entertainment value pretty quickly.  Throwing shit is only of interest to monkeys; that's why they keep doing it.

Here's the question Democrats must confront: what is Joe Biden going to do about it?  Or any other Democratic President for that matter.

Democrats can make political hay from the pandemic, that's true.  But politicizing the pandemic isn't any sort of agenda to address the inevitable problems that will arise after the pandemic passes.  Democrats can throw money at Wall Street, as they did in 2008, and the numbers will look fantastic.  And Democrats can blame Republicans, just as they did in 2008.  But the Great Recession taught us that those fantastic numbers don't really mean anything.

The pandemic has exposed weaknesses in the United States that our adversaries are closely studying.  Any rag tag terrorist group now knows how to shut down the United States.  And less than friendly nation states have learned how to cause significant damage to the United States without directly attacking the country.  The pandemic has shown that supply chains and economics can be used as potent weapons against the United States.

Whoever wins the next election, the President will need to balance the needs of business, workers, and consumers.  The President will need to address the country's dependence upon foreign supply chains.  The President will need to take tangible action to revitalize our manufacturing sector and our domestic business infrastructure.  The President will need to do more than pander to a voter base.

So, Democrats, answer the question.  What is Joe Biden going to do about it?

Instead of replenishing the stockpile, the experts changed policy and decentralized the stockpile.  The experts created a system where local, state, and Federal government would maintain a stockpile.  And the experts assured the country that the new system was working as it should.

The problem wasn't really caused by Obama or Trump.  The root of the problem has been the experts.

my complaint about Obama was not that he did stimulus but that he put it into the FY 09 budget creating a base line that permanently raised federal spending forever more long after the crisis was past.  Trump and the GOP senate didn’t do that.
