As John Wayne says in Rio Bravo when asked to compare the gunfighting skills of the Dean Martin character Dude to the Ricky Nelson character Colorado, "I wouldn't want to have to live off the difference" . Same applies to comparing the qualifications to be president of Kanye West with Donald Trump.
They are both psychologically damaged narcissists with delusions of grandeur. They both speak unconvincingly about religion, and they both regularly attack their critics. Both demand to be the center of attention at all times.

Why would you find Kanye’s conversion to Christianity and his singing and preaching his new message of hope and salvation unconvincing?
Biggest reasons are that West is African American and a conservative which combined are total anathema to many hard core liberal leftists .
IMHO, they both have untreated mental health issues. Once their conditions are properly treated and they are stable, then I will consider their qualifications.
