Ex-RNC Chair Michael Steele Rips Trump Voters: 'You're Getting Punked'

August 24, 2020, 2:54 AM ETMichael Steele , former chair of the Republican National Committee, had some blunt words for members of the GOP who voted for and continue to support President Donald Trump .
Trump, he said, “is not now nor has he ever been a Republican.”
Speaking on MSNBC a day before the Republican National Convention, Steele warned:
“All y’all want to play this little game that Donald Trump is like you, you’re stupid. You’re being played. You’re getting punked. But what’s so bad about it is you’re complicit in your own punking.”
Steele also laughed at the idea that Trump intended to speak on each night of the event rather than just on the final night as was traditional.
“Can we stop pretending that this is going to be a Republican National Convention?” he asked. “This is Donald Trump’s reality TV moment.”

Appx 30 seconds after the RNC officially nominated Trump to be their candidate, this morning, he was on a stage lying ( and accepting the nomination). They should permanently strap a lie detector to this mother f's head.
Why give it two options of how to light up when only one is needed......
If Trumps mouth is open it's either lying or giving oral pleasure to Putin...
The RNC convention is not adopting a policy platform, because the only policies Trump is running on are fear and hatred. So, instead of a policy platform the Republicans formally adopted a pledge of allegiance to their Dear Leader.

Michael Steele was Chairman of the RNC when the Republicans had tremendous success in the 2010 Congressional races. Because he is intelligent, and therefore, anti-Trump, in their alternative universe, the Trump cultists call him "do nothing."
It will be like another TRUMP rally. It's all about TRUMP.

So was the DNC convention. Of course the Democrats don;t want to talk about their platform. It turns the vast majority of voters off who want to keep their money.

Lots of liberals respect him. He obviously finds what the gop is doing far more egregious. Maybe the gop don't really understand how racist they are.
