What I find most telling is that the usual gang of conservatives haven't once, on any of the seeds about this white shooter, called him a "thug".
If this were a 17 year old young black kid who strolled into a protest with an assault rifle and shot several white people who were there trying to defend a confederate monument you know for a fact that "thug" would have been one of the first words out of their mouths. If it had been a young black man who rammed his car into the other crowd of Nazi's and white supremacists in Charlottesville you know every conservative here would be calling him a violent leftist "thug".
What's even sicker are the conservatives like Coulter and Carlson who are here defending him and calling him a hero.
Could you imagine how conservatives would have reacted if the progressives here were calling the Dallas police shooter a "hero"? They would have lost their minds in anger and called for a ban on anyone making such violent statements defending a murderer.
Dozens and dozens of unarmed black men, some strangled to death, some run down in trucks by armed vigilantes, others shot in the back 7 times, are just "thugs" to many conservative Republicans, not worthy of any empathy or justice. White shooters with clearly racist motives? Confederate flag flying white kid gunning down 9 black Church members in their church? Well, boys will be boys. Oh, and make sure you treat them well and with respect when taking them into custody, maybe go buy them some Burger King if they're hungry...

A guy friend of mine and I were discussing Coulter not too long ago. I asked him if he would ever do her. He replied "I wouldn't fuck that c**t with someone else's dick."
Rittenhouse shouldnt have been there at all , he had no right to be there, and in fact his being there with a gun was illegal but if he absolutely had to be there, he should have stayed in one place, and I mean literally stood in one place as a deterrent to someone trying to damage that property.
Thats not what he did though. The New York Times pieced together all of his movements that day and night. He walked all over that area where the protests were taking place, he talked with cops, he talked to reporters, and he went up to protesters more than once and acted as if he were an authority figure on the scene.
He looks more like a teenager desperate to look important than anything else. He is baby faced. I think his self importance coupled with his rifle in their midst antagonized the protesters. It led to him shooting one guy five times. He says self-defense but self defense is not going to work when he didnt belong there and was illegally carrying the gun.
This scene is a condemnation of "open carry", especially in a tense situation like it was in Kenosha.
As the days have passed , more comes out . what will be interesting to see , as more eyewitness reports are made public , more video is viewed , how the situation unfolds or the "spin" is accepted or rejected by whichever side , will become self evident .
for me the interesting aspect has not even started ,charges have been filed , that does not preclude that they wont be changed before a court date is actually arrived at.
I will be watching to see if the prosecutors , go for trial as an adult or a juvi ., i will also be watching to see if there is some sort of a plea deal offered by the prosecution . or if there will be a trial by jury.
right now the Kenosha Kid , only has to let his lawyers do his talking , public opinion is pretty evenly split on the circumstances and opinions , and as we all know public opinion counts for squat in a court of law.
